The cool eccentric band, came out in June with yet another album on which they also unveiled a new member in the ranks. BEP experiments with beats and sounds, (as they always do) and try their hand at Reggaeton which doesn’t go so badly
I enjoyed their experimentation as they looked to create their own unique sound and they also looked to add as many collabos as possible, which is usually a commendable feat.
All in all, Translation is a quitessential BEP album with cool beats and sounds that is a lot of fun to listen to. More power to the peas!
However, some songs felt like they had a little too many cooks for the broth. A few songs had only one singer/performer on the track pulling them out of the depth of being wack. Many of the singers didn’t add anything. I rather preferred the simpler songs, like Tonta Love which had just one singer, Get Loose Now, which didn’t even have any songwriting, and the stripped down ballad, News Today which was simply perfect. These tracks were not bogged down with too many people adding unnecessarily to them.
